Our school year is now in progress, and new students are settling in with expectations for a great year. Last year was marked by steady academic growth and solid instructional practices. We have many reasons to be proud of our school, and this year promises to be our best yet. Over a thousand graduates have lived the Malibu Cove High School experience. We are extremely proud of them. The educational experience for these students has been challenging and transforming. The academic experience has been more than can be captured on standardized tests. While public recognition often focuses on standardized tests, those of us who exist in and create this community know what really brings life to Malibu Cove High - the dedication and willingness to learn of our students. Their diligent work habits and strong achievement orientation. They chose the road less traveled, and it has made all the difference. We all are proud of what our graduates accomplish every year. To our new and returning students, I'd like to extend a warm welcome. When you consider where you want to be over the next four years at Malibu Cove High, we urge you to contemplate where you want to be at the end of those four years. In doing so, we hope you will stretch your horizons and hold on to your highest aspirations.
